Vega Bond is a fictional underground crime boss featured in the Naked-Verse. Vega Bond runs most of the illegal operations and many legitimate enterprises in Rose City.
Creation and concept #
The character was created by Stephanie Greenwood for issue #3. Vega Bond’s name is a parody of James Bond.”[1]; rather the cadence of how Vega introduces himself. The character evolved to be the big criminal boss for the heroes of Rose City.
Influences #
Vega Bond secretive identity is inspired by the Inspector Gadget character, Dr. Claw.[2] Vega Bond is also influenced by the James Bond Character, Ernst Blofeld.[3]

Comics and Comic Books #
In Naked Man Comics #3, Totally Naked Man is called into his manager’s office to discuss his work situation at the Rose City Museum of Art. Totally Naked Man is often late due to his extra-curricular activities. Holly Wood attempts to woo Totally Naked Man but he is unimpressed. Vega Bond attempts to harass Totally Naked Man. When the harassment does not work. Bond kidnaps Holly Wood. Bond threatens Totally Naked Man again. Totally Naked Man assumes Vega Bond is discussing Hollywood, California and not Holly Wood. Under Bond’s care, Holly Wood is accidently teleported to another world. With out a victim, Bond forgoes all threats. Holly Wood arrives on a space station in the S’p’r Empire. She becomes a hero in space.
All the villains in Rose City meet Vega Bond at one of his businesses, in Naked Man Comics #6. Bond has a plan to organize the villains against the heroes of Rose City. The Asalter assaults a little girl’s ice cream. Shawn and Catherine rob Old Town Pizza. The Roach slashes Zetaman’s tires. Villains have taken over the city. Totally Naked Man faces The Extreme Factor Five in Old Town Chinatown. The evil team throws Totally Naked Man off a roof and breaks his foot. Extremely Conservative Woman fights the evil team and saves Totally Naked Man. While Totally Naked Man is recuperating, he receives a call from Vega Bond. Bond challenges the heroes to a wrestling match. The heroes, sans Totally Naked Man, meet at Waterfront Park. New heroes like iHero and The Android, Chris Justice, and Civitron join the heroes of Rose City. The wrestling champion of the seven seas, Aqua Gato, also joins. The wrestling match is at the Rose Quarter. The heroes wrestle the villains. Most of the villains are taken out and retire. The Asalter is the only villain left. The villain makes short work of the heroes, including depowering the robot The Android. Aqua Gato fights The Asalter and loses. The Android turns back on and stops The Asalter. After winning the match, The Android is revealed to be Totally Naked Man.
In Issue #7, Vega Bond laments his disgust over Totally Naked Man’s popularity. The lamentation is in song form.
Superhero and The Siamese Cat travel to Rose City to stop The Opossum in Naked Man Comics #8. The dynamic duo from Clearwater, Florida teams with Totally Naked Man and Extremely Conservative Woman. The team puts an end to the Opossum’s plans, which are backed secretly by Vega Bond.
In Zetaman #0, Vega Bond hires Agent Null to destroy Zetaman. Zetaman hires Agent Null to form The Alternates. Both costumed individuals then fight Vega Bond.
In Android Cop, iHero is going broke. iHero needs to raise capital to keep his app, Chummies, active. So, he sells The Android armor used in Naked Man Comics #6. Artificial Intelligence is installed in the armor, and it became part of the police force. Dubbed Android Cop, The Android patrols the streets of Rose City to stop crime. The mechanical patrol person stumbles upon Totally Naked Man fighting The Roach. Android Cop attempts to arrest the hero but Totally Naked Man shuts the robot down. He takes the armor to iHero for answers on why the suit is fighting crime. Vega Bond installed the AI into Android Cop as a test run for his Android army. Android Cop returns to the Rose City Building to confront Vega Bond only for Bond to escape and activate his android army. Android Cop uses his WiFi abilities to order the army to capture Vega Bond. Bond escapes the Rose City building. Once loose, the android army decides it is time to force order in Rose City. Totally Naked Man and iHero meet up with Android Cop to find a way to stop the army. Android Cop shares is program loops to install free will to the android army. Once gaining free will, the android army decides Earth is too polluted to save so they fly to the mood. Android Cop stays behind to be an ambassador and to join the Agents of S.H.A.Q.
